First appearing on the beauty radar at the age of 31 when he became Creative Director of Lancôme, he partnered with Isabella Rossellini and later Nick Knight.

"In Asia, today is yesterday and tomorrow is already too late," muses Olivier Van Doorne, internationally renowned creative director and world traveler.
"To me, Asia is energy." He has translated this white hot energy into the design of the new PURE WHITE packaging.
"More refined, more advanced, more beautiful...this is what women want today," he claims. And it is such refinement—subtle curves, a pearl-like, glowing finish and superior product performance—that has gone into creating PURE WHITE overall.
"I've also chosen white, a white interior, all white furniture for my new apartment in Paris," adds Van Doorne, "as opposed to my apartment in New York, which is all organic."
